About the Workshop

During times of transition, so much feels uncertain. Whether you’re feeling lost in the midst of a breakup, a career shift, or a lifestyle change, it’s common to wonder: Who am I? What do I want my life to look like now? How do I get clarity about what’s right for me next?

Letting Your Values Guide Your Next Chapter is a hands-on, interactive workshop where you’ll learn to use your values as a source of guidance during this season of change. The secret? You don’t need to know your final destination to start moving toward what matters.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how your values offer direction in the midst of uncertainty. We’ll use them to help you understand what matters most to you, how you want to live, and what you want your next chapter to stand for, so you can begin moving toward a life that aligns with your heart.

You’ll leave with a customized Core Values Compass, a clear vision for your next chapter shaped by what matters most to you, and simple, practical tools for making values-based decisions every step of the way.

Arrive feeling unmoored and uncertain; leave with greater self-connection, clarity, and direction.

Together, we’ll:

Part 1: Why Values Matter During Transition

During transitions, our old identities, roles, and plans are falling away. It can be a a time of self-exploration and experimentation—and a time of disorientation and uncertainty. Living by your values offers a way to stay tethered to what matters to you most, while leaving room for you to explore and expand into something new.

Part 2: Building Your Core Values Compass

Together, we’ll dig beneath shoulds, expectations, and cultural messaging to identify the values that feel most important to you. We’ll look back on the chapter that’s ending to understand which values were suppressed, neglected, or sacrificed then—and which feel particularly important to embody in the chapter ahead. Your Core Value Compass is a tool you can reference again and again—in big and small moments—to point an aligned path forward.

Part 3: Envisioning a Values-Aligned Future

Once you know what matters most to you, you can begin exploring: What would a next chapter shaped by these values look like? We’ll use your Core Values Compass to envision how your values could come to life across your work, relationships, community, lifestyle, and everyday life, creating a clearer picture of the future you want to build.

Part 4: Living Your Values One Day at a Time

Values don’t just help us imagine the future; they help us move through the uncertainty of getting there. Uncomfortable feelings and thoughts are inevitable during times of change. Rooting down in our values helps us develop psychological flexibility—the ability to keep moving toward what matters even when difficult thoughts and feelings show up. You’ll learn simple, practical tools for embodying your values every step along the way—preventing you from getting stuck in overthinking, rumination, and decision-fatigue.
