You’re outgrowing who you’ve been.

A burnout, a breakup, a big disruption—something turned your world upside down. Now, your old stories of who you are, and how you want to live, have stopped working, but the new ones haven’t formed yet.

You feel lost. Stuck. Uncertain of who you are and what’s next—craving meaning, direction, and a path forward.

Whether you call it an identity crisis, a transition, or a “what am I doing with my life?” moment, these in-between spaces can feel like disorienting free-falls—but they’re not random. Across psychology, philosophy, and myth, identity crises are understood as powerful initiations: thresholds into more wholeness, authenticity, and aliveness.

Combining education with hands-on exercises and rich community discussion, From Outgrowing to Becoming is a two-hour, interactive workshop designed to help you step over that threshold and find meaning and clarity in this season of becoming.

About The Workshop

At this workshop, you will:

💡 Understand the identity crisis in a new way.

We’ll explore the psychological and existential importance of the identity crisis, reframing it not as a random free-fall, but a necessary disruption that occurs when aspects of the self that have been suppressed, forgotten, or neglected beg to come forward.

📖 Find the meaning in this part of your story.

We’ll help you make sense of why you’re going through this transition at this moment in your life. Your new chapter grows directly from the ashes of what you went through, and together, we’ll gather wisdom from what’s ending: the lessons and boundaries it left you with, the old ways of being that have run their course, and the new ways of being that are emerging in their place.

🌱 Create structure for the in-between.

Identity crises tend to follow recognizable phases and patterns. We’ll walk you through what to expect from each stage—particularly the “messy middle” or in-between. Here, it’s normal to feel stuck, directionless, and restless—and it’s normal for your typical plans for “pushing through” not to work. Instead, we’ll help you build a trellis: a grounding structure that supports you as you slowly grow into your next chapter.

🧭 Shift from forcing certainty to following curiosity.

Our world rewards certainty and control—but times of identity crisis call for curiosity and receptivity. New directions slowly take shape beneath the surface, and they can appear as glimmers of desire, unexpected interests, or unfamiliar ways of being that suddenly appeal. We’ll help you reorient toward curiosity for this season of change and listen for the unexpected signposts that may point toward your next direction.

✅ What this workshop is:

This is a space to find meaning out of what you’re experiencing; uncover the possibilities that are present; and touch clarity in the midst of change.

It’s a space for curiosity and possibility—a space to meet yourself exactly where you’re at, without needing to change it—and a space to feel less alone in the process.

❎ What this workshop isn’t

This isn’t therapy or a support group; a space to process active trauma; or a space to address acute mental health concerns.

Here, we believe that disruption is necessary for transformation—and we won’t be offering a “quick fix,” “magic solution,” or “simple ten point plan” to move through your identity crisis.
