About Hailey
Hailey Magee built a booming coaching business with hundreds of thousands of followers, a six-figure book deal, and features in The New York Times. On paper, she was living the dream—but behind the scenes, she was burnt out, depressed, and meaning-starved. She took the risk to rebuild a life rooted in real meaning, purpose, and vitality—without work being her entire world—and now, she helps others do the same.
ICF-credentialed and certified by Erickson International, Hailey brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals, groups, and organizations through periods of meaningful change. Her debut book Stop People Pleasing and Find Your Power (2024, Simon & Schuster) has been translated into over 15 languages, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Gottman Institute, and Vox. Her work spans private coaching, group programs, and corporate partnerships, and she has facilitated workshops in conjunction with WeWork, Mindvalley, Women in Music, and more.

Wholeness Beyond Hustle:
Why the Most Sustainable Performers
Don’t Make Work Their World
When work becomes an achiever’s world, their performance suffers, their creativity erodes, and burnout is all but inevitable. This keynote explores why people who draw meaning and identity from multiple sources—not just success—are more resilient, creative, and able to contribute at a high level over time.
Key takeaways:
Healthy ambition vs. success-as-identity: why some high performers thrive over time, while others become brittle
Why over-identifying with work degrades decision-making, creativity, and adaptability
The neuroscience behind why life outside work improves performance inside work
Why meaning diversification—not work-life balance—is the most overlooked driver of sustainable performance
The hidden organizational cost of success-as-meaning cultures, and how leaders can support wholeness without lowering standards

Remembering the Why:
Keeping Meaning and Impact Alive
in High-Performance Cultures
In high-performance cultures, achievement metrics and targets can crowd out the deeper human impact they were meant to represent—leading to burnout, reduced motivation, stalled creativity, and poorer judgment among leaders and teams. This keynote explores how organizations can stay connected to the human impact behind the work, strengthening motivation, judgment, and long-term performance without sacrificing results.
Key takeaways:
Why over-indexing on achievement metrics unintentionally erodes motivation
The science behind why reconnecting work to its human impact restores intrinsic motivation, resilience, and better decision-making
Why leaders are especially vulnerable to mistaking success for significance—and how this reduces their courage, adaptability, and resilience over time
Why pressure works in the short-term, but meaning is what sustains performance through change and uncertainty
How organizations can remain metrics-driven while staying meaning-anchored
